I had the San Jose which was delicious. Our waiter Christina was very attentive and super courteous. Meals were prepared expeditiously and were hot on arrival. They have a full bar available for those that like chasing those spirits. It’s in a very good location of town.
We go there once a month. Their food is always good! They built a new restaurant that's located across the street from Walmart. The booths are nice and private. The walls have beautiful murals and decorations. My family came to visit from California so we took them to dinner. All of our meals were perfect! My husband and I love the shrimp wrapped in bacon!
Food was great and it arrived very fast after ordering. Everything was tender.
Enjoyed dinner with friends- happy hour was great. Enjoyed the mango margarita. I also tried the shrimp enchiladas and asked for beans instead of rice - great!
Food was great. Service was great. Prices were great. I think this is the first time I have ordered fajitas, they have veggie fajitas for a great price. Fajitas were awesome. Salsa was medium spicy. They had diet Dr Pepper. Will return if I’m in New Roads again.
I go to a lot of Mexican restaurants all over the US. Tex-Mex is my favorite. Many times they will all start to melt together but this place stood out. I highly recommend their guacamole Mexicano. It is chunky and has diced onions and tomatoes and cilantro and lime and jalapenos. On top they serve it with grilled green onions that are out of this world. And roasted whole jalapenos, so good! My bf had carne asada. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. He had them add grilled shrimp and they, too, were seasoned and cooked perfectly. I had queso fundido on a sizzling plate. More grilled green onions! This place will always stand out as one of my favorites.
I have eaten here several times this last week. I have even taken my team here and the food was great! Today, I had the Quesabirria taco’s and they had some amazing flavor and they were so good. I would highly recommend you giving them a try or anything else on the menu.
I'm glad we decided to try the new El Patio. It's a beautiful restaurant. The food and serve was great. We will be back
